On Tuesday 9 March 2010, Oceanco delivered the 85.47m megayacht, Sunrays (Y705) to her owners. The new superyacht was launched in November 2009 from the shipyard in Alblasserdam, The Netherlands.
The Sunrays is based on the Oceanco’s proven technical Y700 platform. The exterior design of the yacht was made by Bjorn Johansson Design; Terence Disdale Design created interior layouts.
The steel hull of the yacht is colored with an exquisite teal. The idea behind this colorful concept was that by having a bright colored hull, the Oceanco Y705 would stand out among the many luxury yachts and megayachts that travel in the area of the Mediterranean during the summer months.
