Kha Shing Launched New Monte Fino 100 RPH Superyacht

Monte Fino 100 RPH

The shipbuilder Kha Shing was formed in 1977 and has been building personal watercraft for approximately thirty-seven years. Since that time, the shipyard has gone through many changes. In 1986, the shipbuilding facilities were extended. In 2003, Kha Shing went through a major refurbishment that included concrete piers and new workshops. 2004 saw the construction of a workshop capable of holding two 130-foot yachts, and a complete renovation happened in 2006. Kha Shing has recently launched the superyacht Monte Fino 100 RPH from this very shipyard in Taiwan.

Kha Shing delivered the first of the new Monte Fino 100 RPH superyacht’s to its owner after an exhaustive series of sea trials conducted by the shipyards own highly experienced crew.

The designers over at Humphries Yacht Design and the engineers for Kha Shing seem to have followed the same basic exterior design as that of the Monte Fino 76, but on a larger scale with the 100 RPH. The similarities are really very obvious from the design of the flybridge and radar arch to the aerodynamics of the main deck structure and walk around. Of course, that is where the obvious similarities of the two end.

The Monte Fino 100 RPH is a three deck yacht design with an exterior walk around that goes all the way from the bow to the stern of the superyacht. As previously mentioned the 100 RPH is a fly bridge design that can be open, but unlike the 76 can also have an enclosed fly bridge/sky lounge. The fly bridge of the RPH 100 also features a Jacuzzi tub, a large bar plus stools, a large dining table, and large cane chairs. However, the fly bridge just like the interior of the yacht can be completely customized to the requirements of its owner giving it an extremely personal touch.

The interior of this luxury yacht is also meticulously designed and appointed according to the specifications of the yachts owner. The owner of the first 100 had a large master stateroom constructed on the main deck, while the staterooms for the guests remained on the lower deck. On board the first 100, the quarters for the captain and the crew were are aft of the engine room and can be accessed from either the aft deck or transom. In addition to the other stairways one was incorporated in the design to allow the captain and crew access to the lower helm stations for night voyaging.
