The Santo Stefano Yacht Club is an amateur sports association founded with the aim of promoting and spreading the knowledge and practice of water sports and sailing on the Argentario .
The partnership was born in 1960 by a group of Roman vacationers who practiced the sport of sailing. Among these the lawyer Giuseppe Sotis who will be the first President of the Club and who will guide it for many years.
The first seat is original and splendid. The Board of Directors decides to restore an old brig from Santo Stefano – the Spluga – moored at the head of the Valle pier and in the hold of which there was a large hall. On the ground the “casina” with tennis court, bowling alley and a large wooded park.
