The Yacht Club Punta del Este, was born as an Institution on February 14, 1924, as stated in the Minutes Book No. 1 and its first Assembly was held at the Hotel España, three months later, on May 26.
In 1932, a precarious and revocable concession was obtained for the property that today occupies the main headquarters of the Club, which was built in 1946.
