Sail Manitoba and Fort Whyte Alive have teamed up to offer sailing lessons within the city at the Winnipeg Sailing Centre.
The small lakes at the Sailing Centre provide an excellent venue for safe and exciting sailing. Sail Manitoba aims for safety while sailing. Our instructor/student ratio is 1:6 and lifejackets, which are provided, are mandatory while on and around the water, and we also have a number of helmets available for our students. Our certified instructors will always be close by either in a coachboat on the water or on shore, depending on the skills of the sailor.
