The Sailors’ Association 1903 Berlin e. V. (SV 03) is an association whose interest lies in the maintenance and promotion of sailing. The club grounds are on the south-east bank of the Klaren Lanke between the island of Schwanenwerder and the Great Window.
As the only sailing club in Berlin, we can offer our members places in our buoy field in addition to the berths in the harbor.
On March 4, 1903, the German Yacht Club was founded in the restaurant “Schloss Wannsee” with Arthur Kaleskey as the first chairman.
Two years later the association was incorporated into the DSV under the new name ‘Seglervereinigung 1903 Berlin eV’. Arthur Otto was elected the first chairman and held the office until 1915.
Since it was founded, the number of members has grown to over 400, including over 70 young people.
