Sailing Aarhus is a non-profit association founded in 1999 at the initiative of the five sailing clubs in Aarhus: Kaløvig Bådelaug, Egå Sailing Club, Aarhus Sailing Club, Sailing Club Bugten and Marselisborg Sailing Club. Sailing Aarhus was created on the basis of the idea of a common sailing Aarhus, but was set up as an independent association with its own statutes and with the non-profit purpose of spreading knowledge of sailing.
