The Greenwich Flying Squadron was founded in 1924 and has a long and distinguished history. The Club’s history has been captured by Rosalie Lucas in her book Greenwich Flying Squadron: The First 75 Years (Maritime Heritage Press, 1999 ISBN 1876059036, 9781876059033). The Lane Cove and Greenwich Libraries each have a copy of the book.
