Whether you’re sailing a 22 footer with tiller steering and an outboard engine or a 32 foot cruiser with electric winches and modern electronics you’ll find a warm welcome at Gravesend Sailing Club.
A leisurely day sail will take you upriver to Thurrock, Greenhithe or Erith. Stop for some lunch on a mooring buoy before heading back to Gravesend. Alternatively head downriver to Holehaven on Canvey Island where you can dinghy ashore and enjoy a beer in the comfortable Lobster Smack public house.
