situated in the heart of Galway Bay, only 10 km from Galway city, GBSC welcomes visitors of all ages, skill levels and abilities to join us to experience the world of sailing.
The club has played host to many successful Regional and National Regattas with racing taking place against the backdrop of beautiful Galway Bay.
Each season brings numerous opportunities for sailing. We offer sailing to non-members every Friday evening during the summer. If you are interested in doing a sailing course, click here to find out about our course schedule for adults and juniors. We have a wide range of training programs available at our club for both adults and juniors. If you would like to experience sailing for the first time or indeed have many years of expertise we have events and training programs to suit all levels.
And if, after a long day on the seas, you would like to take some time to relax, you are of course welcome to join us at our club house and enjoy the spectacular views over Galway Bay.
