Datchet Water Sailing Club is a real hidden jewel, 15 mins from London nestled in the shadow of Windsor Castle. It is a members club, run by the members for the members with the additional support of paid staff. It is a club “Where membership matters” and our core values reflect how we see the club and how we want the club to be seen by others. its perfect for all classes of sailing,powerboating and training or to just sit and enjoy the water and the views.
The sailing water is almost two kilometres long and over a kilometre wide making it large enough for all dinghy classes, small keelboats, foilers and catamarans and great for Windsurfing, Wingfoiling and Stand Up Paddleboarding. There are 300 meters of beach and astroturf to make rigging and launching easier.
The water is open Wednesday to Sunday and bank holidays excluding Christmas Day, weather permitting. Whenever the water is open, patrol boat cover is provided.
