Located in the Bay of Cascais, the Clube Naval de Cascais was founded in 1938 and, since its birth, has played an important role in the development of water sports in Portugal, with special emphasis on Sailing, making it one of the most prestigious Nautical Clubs in Portugal.
In 2013, he celebrated his 75th birthday and was honored by His Excellency The President of the Republic, Prof. AnÃbal Cavaco Silva, with the attribution of the title of ” Honorary Member of the Order of Infante Dom Henrique” and in 2018 on the occasion of his 80th Anniversary, was awarded by His Excellency The President of the Republic, Prof. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, with the attribution of the title of ” Member of the Order of Public Instruction” .
In February 2007, the Club’s new facilities were inaugurated, thus granting it the capacity to host the most diverse types of events. Currently, the Clube Naval de Cascais is properly prepared to serve its portfolio of more than 800 members, with dynamic and functional infrastructures, with multipurpose rooms, Gym, Restaurant, Bar, Library and Cais de Honra.
