By the will of a group of friends, the Circolo Velico Tivano was established in 1994, which since its inception has set out to develop a simple and effective methodology to spread the passion and technique of sailing.
Almost 30 years later, the CVT is a sports organization with hundreds of members, an established and well-known Fiv and Uisp sailing school, three competitive teams and an efficient logistic structure capable of organizing national level sailing regattas and hosting dozens of vessels at your location. From the first sailing “tasting” initiatives to what CVT is today, it has been a long journey of growth, made up of many moments that together have built a solid reputation.
mong the numerous initiatives carried out by the CVT in all these years, there are certainly the launch of the first sailing courses of the Network Project, dedicated to high school students in the province of Lecco and the events in collaboration with the world of solidarity: the children of Chernobyl, the handicapped and members of local non-profit organizations were taken by boat and the first regatta organized by the club was also an initiative that was intended not only for sport but also for solidarity, the “Regatta for Telethon”, later called for a life”, the proceeds of which were donated to the same foundation.
