Barnt Green Sailing Club is one of the premier sailing clubs in the West Midlands. The club is based at Upper Bittell reservoir in rural North Worcestershire but we are only a short distance from Birmingham and the M5 and M42 motorways.
We welcome new members of all sailing abilities and as an RYA-affiliated club and training centre, we pride ourselves on providing training for dinghy cruising and racing to RYA standards for juniors and adults. We have a fleet of club boats which members can use including Laser Vago, Laser Pico, Lark, Optimist and Cadet class dinghies.
Organised racing at the club takes place all year round on Sundays and on Wednesday evenings during British summertime. We also offer social sailing and cruising with rescue boat cover on Sunday mornings between 11:00am and 12:30pm and at other times through our informal social sailing group.
The clubhouse provides a bar open to members and their guests and also benefits from our free broadband WiFi. The ladies and gents changing rooms include toilets and hot showers.
