Apostle Island Yacht Club

Apostle Islands Yacht Club is not a marina—we are a private club owned and operated by its members. We like to keep our organization simple and affordable. This requires all members to help manage, repair, and improve our club and its facilities. The Apostle Islands Yacht Club is managed by a board of directors elected by members for two-year terms. The board meets throughout the year (generally in the Twin Cities) to help ensure that all members can enjoy the benefits of our club long into the future.

Twenty-nine secure, protected slips with 30 amp power, water and internet access. Cars can be parked directly at your slip. Bathhouse with private showers within 50 yards of all slips. New clubhouse (2017) with fireplace and full kitchen. Weekly cleaning service. Outdoor patios, decks and spaces for sitting, campfires, grilling and gardens. The “Herring Shed” (with tools and workbench) for sails, equipment and ice. Shared bicycles. Dinghy racks. Literally, in the town of Bayfield, WI. Adjacent to the Brownstone Trail for hiking and biking. The season is normally from the first days of May until mid-October. We have approximately forty-five members.
