The Anacapa Yacht Club (AYC) was established in 1967 with the intended purpose of promoting sailboat racing in the Oxnard area. AYC was chartered by Southern California Yachting Association on November 25th 1967 and incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the state of California.
AYC has provided an excellent racing program to area boaters for many years and continues to do so. Our longest running race, and still one of the most popular, is the Anacapa Island Race Series. Our most popular event is our Wet Wednesday series, held every Wednesday evening from March through October.
