Vicem is the yacht company for yachtsman, and the Vision 46M Tri Deck is no exception. This yacht is scheduled for release in 2011, and is going to be one heck of a super yacht, and a major presence at any harbor in the world.
Vicem challenged Mulder Design to create a design that was state of the art, and that would also showcase the legendary craftsmanship of the company. Art Line Studios was given the task of bringing a new definition luxury to the interior. In order to have the best weight to strength ratios of this tri-deck design, only Antalya, Turkey’s state of the art facility was good enough to provide the sandwich techniques, the resin infusion, and the composite materials to do the job.
The resulting ship is a 200 ton wonder, powered by dual 3,650 horsepower BTU diesel motors that deliver a top speed of 25 knots, with a lower more efficient speed that will take it anywhere around the globe. She has three decks, as well as another sun deck. This is going to provide an owner with the most outstanding elegance imaginable. She will have the owner’s suite, as well as five other guest cabins, plus crew quarters.
The open atrium is her signature feature. It has 45 massive feet of natural lighting, from the top of the sundeck, down into the lower deck. The main deck has the massive owner’s quarters, that takes up all the 30 foot beam. This suite includes a private office, as well as a gymnasium. There is a grand wrap around entry that takes you to the full width bathroom, as well as a large Jacuzzi. Aft of the owners suite is the dining area that will accommodate up to ten people, the grand and fully equipped galley, as well as two lounges.
The Vision 46M Tri Deck super yacht has state of the art electronics throughout, with grand entertaining capabilities as well as underwater lights. This whole aft wall opens up to a large and spacious swimming platform, as well as a launch area for the tender and water toys.
There is not a lot of information to be had on the Vision project. What can be told is that this super yacht is 151’2″ long, and has a beam of 30+ feet. It has a draft of a little over seven feet. This yacht can accommodate 18 people, including the owners, the guests as well as crew. It has a 1980 gallon fresh water tank, and an almost 13,000 gallon fuel tank, allowing it to travel up to 1,100 nautical miles as cruising speeds, with a 5% reserve.
