From OCEA Yachts located in Les Sables d’Olonne along France’s Atlantic coast and home to the famed sailing race The Vendée Globe comes the Commuter 155 superyacht, a notable addition to their Commuter Yacht Series that is set to be launched and delivered in late summer 2010.
The OCEA team of yacht builders was founded back in 1987 and during that time has quickly gained a reputation has being one of the leading pioneers in aluminum shipbuilding and a builder of reliable yachts. The designers at OCEA are widely known for working closely with buyers taking into account their exact specifications in order to create a unique yachting experience.
Designed by the team at naval architects Joubert-Nivelt, the OCEA Commuter 155 superyacht boasts a host of distinctive features including an impressive saloon surrounded by full length windows that is situated behind the bridge which is large enough to accommodate up to 10 guests.
Guests will find rather comfortable accommodations in the form of one owner’s stateroom and four guest staterooms and be able to take advantage of the yacht’s many amenities including its yacht ice notation, a helicopter platform, and a panoramic gym area located on the upper deck.
Dual CAT engines power the Commuter 155 and she is able to reach a maximum speed of 18 knots with an average cruising speed of 15.5 knots giving guests the chance to cruise the open waters while fully enjoying the yacht and all it has to offer.
