The Newly Launched Fairline Designed Targa 58 Gran Turismo

Targa 58 Gran Turismo

The newly launched Fairline designed Targa 58 Gran Turismo boasts extraordinarily spacious galley space and living quarters with interesting features previously unseen on a boat of this size and price.

The detailing, design, and overall layout of the Targa 58 Gran Turismo were done by the Fairline Design Team and the naval architecture and structural engineering of the hull form and its construction can be credited to Bernard Olesinski.

Included in the pioneering design of the Targa 58 Gran Turismo is most notably the galley space and spacious single-living level, which can be entirely transformed with one touch of a button to open the roof, retract the panoramic side windows, and cause the patio doors to seemingly disappear giving guests an open air view of the sea. Then there’s the convenient option of a powered sunshade over the cockpit’s seating area, which also converts electronically via the touch of another button to create a large sun pad.

The deck saloon area of the boat houses a number of attractive amenities including a dining table, sofa with stowage, hardtop skylight, an iPod docking station, and a 32″ LCD TV with DVD/CD audio system. In the galley you will find all of the comforts of home and more including parquet teak flooring, twin sinks, an integrated trash bin, first aid kit, refrigerator, combination oven/microwave/grill, Fairline Edition china and cutlery set, and plenty of lighting and storage.

The rest of the unique layout of the sportscruiser’s interior includes luxurious cabins that are cleverly designed to not only maximize the space but to also provide convenient access and stunning views from all around.

The interior of the yacht is adorned with oak hardwood floors and the choice of three different upholsteries, Classic, Elegance, or the Sport Collection.

The Targa 58 Gran Turismo’s master stateroom features luxuries such as Heirlooms fine bed linens, a dressing table, oversized double bed with twin tables, ample storage areas, and a Bose sound dock station with amplifier and speakers. The master stateroom also includes access to a bathroom fully equipped with storage, lighting, mirrors, and all of the usual expected amenities.

Also with access to a bathroom, the port side guest cabin includes two full length berths that convert into double beds, two feature windows, under bed storage, overhead and reading lights, and a wardrobe with mirrored doors. The starboard guest cabin features much of the same along with halogen ceiling lights, however, the full length berths in this guest cabin do not convert into double beds.

The exterior design of the sportscruiser is unrivaled with its exquisite styling and workmanship giving it a superior appearance both while out at sea and while docked.

The non-slip surface of the 58’s deck uses both thermal insulation and polyurethane foam cores to create optimum strength and the deck itself is accentuated by a number of functional features. In addition to a full set of navigational lights, a remote control searchlight, the deck area also includes twin horns, a teak-laid bathing platform, hot and cold water transom shower, and foredeck lockers.

The 58 Gran Turismo is yet another landmark addition to the renowned Targa name thanks to its impressive performance of up to 38 knots and its incredibly attractive interior and exterior designs.
