New Riviera 43 Open Flybridge Fishing Yacht

Rivera 43 Open Flybridge

The Riviera 43 Open flybridge fishing yacht is another in a long line of quality Riviera products, Australia’s number one boat builder. This is truly a great fishing yacht, from it’s shorter aft deck to the helm station located on the open fly bridge, the only station. There are three main cabins with accommodations for five. Each cabin is large and spacious, and has optional extras like the scissor double berths. Although there is just give berths here, the C shaped sofa on the main deck can convert into another two beds.

With it’s large windows, open flybridge, and a full wrap around windscreen the Riviera shows a distinctive European look. Some of the specifications are an overall length of 14.5 meters, a hull length of 13.61 meters and a beam of 4.57 meters. Including props it has a draft of 1.2 meters, and an empty displacement of 14,550 kg. With an 1,800 liter fuel tank as well as a 460 liter fresh water tank, it is able to travel up to 340 nautical miles.

It is able to achieve maximum speeds of 31 knots, with an average cruising speed of 28. Powering the Riviera 43 are twin 435hp Volvo D6 motors, with Volvo IPS forward facing dual propeller pods providing the propulsion.

Riviera is expecting great things to come about with their new 43 open flybridge yacht. First launched in May at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, 16 have sold already. Now they are awaiting the 51st Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and hope that the American market will be just as if not more responsive, considering America has one of the largest fishing industries in the world.

Even as the world’s economy is still recovering, Riviera has still sold 40 sport yachts in the 8 weeks between the Sanctuary Cove and Sydney boat shows, providing that the public still wants the exceptional quality that this company has to offer. In fact, because of their recent successes, they are introducing a new production lineup, as well as started a recruitment drive to help increase staffing to meet the demands of construction and sales. Currently, Riviera offers twenty different models covering four different series, the Sport Yacht, Offshore Express, Motor Yachts, and of course the flybridge series. These are available in lengths from 36′-85.’
