Giorgio Vafiadis presented a new 39.5-metre project F40, which is currently under construction at the Golden Yachts shipyard, Greece.
“The F40 has a hull of significant volume, with a low and sleek superstructure and high sides, which are visibly lightened by lateral portholes and ample windows”, explains the designer.
This elegant superyacht will be able to accommodate 14 guests in two VIP and two guest cabins on the lower deck and the spacious master cabin. There is a sun deck aft and a C-shaped seating area towards the bow. The F40 features an additional sun bridge and second steering station above the hard top.
Both exterior and interior of the superyacht were created according to the owner’s wishes. The living area was designed in black and white color them with the incorporation of crocodile leather and Swarovski crystals in the wall paneling and furnishings of the guest cabins.
Powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M 93 , 2400 hp each, F 40 will be able to achieve a top speed up to 35 knots and a cruising speed of 31 knots.
The F40 is due to be launched in spring 2011.
