Shama Yachts is a builder out of Egypt, and have announced that they have received an order for their new Shama 115, an 35.5 meter (115 foot) Raised Pilot House type yacht. This order is scheduled for completion early 2011. The exterior, as well as the interior are designed in house by the Shama Yachts own team, and will be a modern vessel that is ultra stylish.
The Raised Pilot House will have not only all ultra high tech navigational systems, easy to operate controls, but also this raised design give a significantly better panoramic views for the captain. This will be mainly accessed forward of the main salon. The lower three decks will be comprised of four guest en-suite cabins, the crew quarters with three twin cabins, the captains quarters, as well as the crew mess and galley. These quarters will also have their own entrance to the rest of the Shama 115RPH.
The upper deck will have many luxurious dining and entertaining areas, with ample seating, and a large saloon. There is an art gallery, entertaining media systems, and a large, state of the art galley. Forward of this is the full be owner’s full beam cabin, complete with its own private salon, walk in closets, and a luxury bathroom. This will also have ample seating, and a private office.
The aft deck area will be where there will be ample dining and seating areas, access to all the other decks, including the fly bridge, the tender launch, and the swimming platforms. Included with the raised pilot area on the fly deck, there will be many sun bathing areas, a full wet bar, and even more space will be located on the forward areas of the Shama Yacht 115RPH.
Some other specifications of the 115RPH are; LOA of more that 30 meters, a beam of 7.3 meters, and a draft of just 1.55 meters. With a light load, it will have a displacement of just 120 tons. With it’s twin MTU 16Volt 2000 M94 diesel engines, 3070 A transmission, and a propeller propulsion, It is capable of maximum speeds of up to 23 knots. With a fuel capacity of 22,000 liters, and fresh water tanks that are around 3,000 liters, the Shama 115RPH will be able to travel just about anywhere in the world.
Because this is the first of its kind, there simply isn’t that much detailed information about the 115RPH, but what is know can be found online.
