Ocean Alexander 120: A Revolutionary New Approach to the Helm Design

Ocean Alexander 120

Alexander Marine, the manufacturer of Ocean Alexander will construct new 120’ motoryacht designed by Evan K. Marshall. Construction will begin in early 2010 with an estimated completion in latter part of 2011.

The final stages of engineering are nearly completed by Christensen Yachts which recently surprised the yachting industry when it announced that it has established a new sub-company for constructing composite parts for green energy equipments. Renewable Energy Composite Solutions company will produce products such as small wind turbines and wave energy test berths.

The new Ocean Alexander 120 will feature a true tri-deck arrangement with on-deck master and four large staterooms on the lower deck. The crew quarters have space for seven with a separate capitan’s quarters on the bridge deck. The superyacht will be able to accommodate 10 guests in a total of 5 rooms.

A revolutionary new approach to the helm layout will be first and will become a signature item for future Ocean Alexander motoryachts. Another unique feature is the availability of a tender garage that can accommodate a 16’ tender.
