Maritime Concept and Construction (MCC) from Hong Kong presented the 38-metre motor yacht MCC Transoceanic Explorer. The scale model of the yacht will be exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show 2010.
MCC 38 Transoceanic Explorer will have the most economic single screw propulsion with electrically driven Schottel pump jets on the market. The range is a remarkable 5300nm at 11 knots using only 80 liters per hour.
The new motor yacht will have a steel hull and a composite superstructure. The 38-metre vessel will offer a lot more volume than similar sized yachts. She will provide accommodation for eight guests plus eight crew members.
The interiors and exteriors of the yacht were created by in-house naval architect and designer Kasia Milewska. The indoor spaces can be fitted with eco-friendly materials and textiles, such as bamboo, mango wood and recycled glass. The living area features a number of interesting options for flooring, wall covering, tiles, countertops, fixtures, and fabrics.
MCC will present MCC 38m Transocean Explorer and their new project, the superyacht MCC 48m Transocean Explorer at the Monaco Yacht Show 2010.
