Leopard 39, the latest model from Leopard Catamarans is designed for comfort, functionality and aesthetic purposes. So comfortable and classy is this modern yacht that many sailors will not hesitate to make it a home, at least for a short while if not permanently. If you love the beauty of living in a boat, then this model will meet and even surpass your expectations.
Its hull is designed to offer high performance and shelf life. It borrows largely from the Leopard 38, but differs in that it has a raised helm station and a more pronounced hardtop. The helm station can be accessed from the cockpit and is covered all round with hard bimini, which ensures maximum protection. The long hardtop provides sufficient shade and offers protection in harsh weather conditions. Sheltered beneath it is the spacious cockpit; which has full seating complete with a dining table. The rear backseats can be adjusted to face the aft or face forward. Because of its large size, the cockpit can be a place for sharing meals with guests or family when on board the yacht. On each side are transom boarding steps. Solar panels are installed on the hardtop to continuously power the onboard batteries.
To board the Leopard 39, transom steps designed like a power-boat are used, making it easy for people of different weight categories to get aboard. Another great factor the designers took into consideration when designing this boat was the ventilation. Wide, opening hatches provide excellent ventilation which ensures that the inside remains fresh and airy; and also keeps the 2x 21 HP diesel engines from overheating. The large and spacious walk-through deck, which opens to the aft swim area, gives you enough room in which to watch the waters and waves. The front windscreens, which are designed in a vertical, forward-facing design, also give a great viewpoint. All the windows are large, providing more panoramic views no matter what part of the yacht you are at.
The Leopard 39 has 2 guest cabins, exquisitely designed and enhanced with beautiful décor. The 2 guest cabins share a head and stall shower, located in the port hull. Each cabin has ample storage and adjustable reading lights. The large starboard hull becomes the luxurious owner’s suite. It features a master suite and private head with big shower stall, marine toilet, vanity unit and a washbasin with mixer tap. There is also a study area with a desk and overhead lighting. All cabins are given a deep cherry wood finish and feature soft over-head lighting. Soft, multi-fiber fabrics are used on various surfaces. When ordering for a Leopard 39, one has the option of changing the interior colors to reflect a more personal taste. There is a range of color options to choose from.
It has a spacious saloon area, with a galley facing the aft and a wide settee that can accommodate a number of people. There is ample storage with facilities such as a refrigerator and freezer, each with insulated drawers and compartments. Entertainment is provided via a sound system and VHF whose controls are inside the companionway doors. They can easily be accessed from the cockpit, helm station and saloon.
All these features combined with the unique Leopard Catamarans high quality, present a high performance boat for a fulfilling cruising experience.
