HT 116 Explorer is the latest project from Hydro Tec, designed for the Hong Kong-based shipyard Kingship. The superyacht has been recently presented at the Seoul Boat Show.
The 35-metre Explorer has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and features a spectacular fly bridge and extraordinary autonomy. The HT 116 Explorer has a very good maneuverability thanks to her hull (classic full displacement type) and a rudder profile optimized for the propeller.
HT 116 Explorer is powered by twin 448 kW Cat C 18 Acert and is able to achieve a top speed of 13 knots or a range of 7000 nm at a cruising speed of 11.5 knots.
The living area of the yacht consists of four large guest cabins, including two VIP suites and two doubles, three double cabins for the crew (all on the lower deck), an enormous lounge, a dining room, kitchen and an amazing owner’s suite on the main deck.
On the upper deck there is a passageway with the captain’s cabin along with an area to relax with a small lounge and open space, complete with Jacuzzi. On the Sun deck, there is a solarium and dining area with both a bar and barbecue.
The Kingship HT 116 Explorer is the first of the series and will be followed by a larger 148 foot and then a smaller 87 foot. All three projects were presented at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
