Leading Dutch shipyard Jongert unveiled a new 5200M superyacht project. The 52m vessel is a modern performance cruiser with an easily handled ketch rig that combines Jongert’s quality values of old with the latest thinking in sailing comfort.
The 5200M has a hull developed by renowned Doug Peterson and the exterior profile designed by Rene Van der Velden.
Luxury, privacy and comfort are the key attributes of the new vessel.
“A good example is the beach club zone. This zone includes a large sunbathing platform, a wet bar, a shower and a toilet. This area is accessible directly from the four VIP guest cabins.”
“Another example is the fact that we have made a special passageway alongside the wheelhouse that connects the different sitting areas so that it is not necessary to use the gangways. Via the passageway you can, for instance, go directly from the wheelhouse on the aft deck to the sunbathing area on the front deck”, – explained Rene Van der Veldeen .
The 5200M features a specious master cabin (for two persons) which is placed in a way that the beam of the yacht is fully used. An owner’s tender is stored on the foredeck and the aft deck can be used for placing jet skis.
