The 50-metre aluminium superyacht ELA, built by Heesen Yachts in 2021, will be available for viewings during the upcoming Palm Beach International Boat Show.

The yacht is offered for sale through Ocean Independence as a joint central agency with Fraser Yachts and will be located at slip PH E301F during the show.

With an asking price of USD 38,500,000, ELA represents one of the most technically advanced aluminium superyachts in the 50-metre segment.

Efficient Fast Displacement Hull Design

Delivered in 2021, ELA features the innovative Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. This advanced hull design allows the yacht to combine high cruising efficiency with strong performance across a wide speed range.

Built entirely in aluminium and measuring just under 50 metres while remaining below the 500 GT threshold, the yacht achieves an impressive balance between interior volume, efficiency and performance.

Powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines, the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 19.5 knots, while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency during long-range cruising.

The yacht’s advanced stabilisation system ensures comfort both underway and at anchor.

Contemporary Design and Spacious Interior

The exterior design of ELA was created by Omega Architects, featuring a sleek contemporary profile defined by a long waterline and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.

Inside, Italian designer Cristiano Gatto created a calm and welcoming interior atmosphere designed for relaxation and entertaining. Organic-shaped bespoke furniture blends with refined designer pieces, while warm walnut veneers and soft matte finishes enhance the yacht’s elegant style.

A custom hand-tufted carpet by Luxury Pride and carefully curated furnishings further contribute to the yacht’s tranquil onboard environment.

Accommodation for Guests and Crew

The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms, including:

  • a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck
  • a full-beam VIP suite
  • two double guest cabins
  • two twin cabins with Pullman berths

The yacht also provides accommodation for nine crew members, ensuring professional service for guests onboard.

Exterior Living and Entertainment Spaces

Outdoor areas on board ELA are designed for both relaxation and social gatherings.

Key features include:

  • sundeck Jacuzzi
  • outdoor cinema
  • alfresco dining areas
  • multiple sunbathing spaces
  • beach club area

Her relatively shallow 2.16-metre draft also allows easier access to shallow cruising destinations compared with many yachts of similar size.
