Horizon Yachts in cooperation with JC Espinosa presented the concept of the 108 foot (33 metres) motor yacht Horison Elegance 106 Raised Pilothouse.
The Elegance 106 RP features a streamed superstructure with gracious lines from the bow over the raised pilot house to the transom. The double chine hull design provides excellent sea keeping, combined with stability and hydrodynamic performance to minimize drag and improve performance.
For this new hull design, Horizon collaborated with Don Blount, well-known naval architecture/marine engineering firm, which specializes in high-speed hull design, structure calculations and stability evaluation, to create a comfortable and efficient high-speed hull.
The Elegance 106 RP offers spacious living area, which includes a master suite, located on the main deck, six staterooms with en suite heads, round salon, linked by a sleek wet bar to an elegant full-beam dining salon and fully-equipped galley with access to the crew quarters. The Raised Pilothouse ensures an enclosed helm area while allowing for a full exterior flybridge deck.
