Alloy Yachts started the construction of the 47 meter motor superyacht AY43.
AY43 is the new project of the award-winning team of Alloy Yachts, Dubois Naval Architects and Donald Starkey Design. This team created the 40 meter superyacht Allogante (now known as Loretta Anne), which won the 2009 ISS Award for the best 24-40m motoryacht.
“This is the third Alloy Yachts-built motoryacht our client has owned and we will again enjoy working with the owner to create a beautiful vessel which exceeds expectations”, – says managing director, Tony Hambrook.
AY43 will have an owner’s suite, four guest staterooms, a gym and a spa pool. The side windows of the flybridge will be able to slide down or up depending on the owner’s and guests wishes.
Powered by twin 1,600-hp Caterpillar C32 diesel engines, AY 43 will be able to cruise at a speed of 14.5 knots.
AY43 is scheduled to be delivered in early 2012.
