Dutch shipyard Amels has announced the launch of the first Limited Editions Amels 212 ahead of schedule. Amels 212 is the largest yacht yet produced in the Dutch shipyards’ Limited Edition series.
“The success of the Limited Editions concept has firmly established Amels as the market leader in the premium semi-custom segment. We pioneered the concept with the Amels 171 and 177, and now we are expanding the range to the Amels 212, and soon the Amels 242,” said Rob Luijendijk, Amels’ managing director.
The 65,5-metre superaycht features sleek and elegant exterior lines designed by Tim Heywood and beautiful interior layout created by Andrew Winch. Amels 212 has two VIP cabins on the bridge deck, each with sliding-window access to a private balcony. A centrally-located glass elevator makes for easy and elegant access to all parts of the yacht, including the ‘wet feet’ bar on the sun deck and the large Beach Club located at the stern. There is ample storage for a range of beach toys and also for two 8.5m tenders.
Amels 212 is planned to be displayed at the 2011 Monaco Yacht Show.
