Alloy Yachts Launched Sailing Superyacht Vertigo

Vertigo

Alloy Yachts launched the 67.2m  superyacht Vertigo, the largest luxury sailing yacht ever built at Alloy Yachts and the largest sailing vessel ever built in the Southern Hemisphere.

Vertigo supryacht (hull name AY41) was designed by Phillippe Briand. Phillippe Briand’s brief from the client was to make a performance sailing yacht capable of world cruising. Vertigo has an almost vertical bow and consequently a greater waterline lengththus making for a considerable improvement in speed both under sail and engine power.

The interior layout of the yacht was created by Christian Liagre. The lower deck of the yacht includes four comfortable guest cabins and a spacious owner’s suite. The flying bridge is open but can be protected by a removable bimini top and a large dodge. Two lockers that house 2 x 6m tenders are located on the foredeck.
