German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen has recently launched the 78m superyacht Titan, the third yacht in their 78m series.
Eminence was the first superyacht in this range, she was launched in 2008. The second, C2, was launched in 2009. Titan and her sister ships are inside in the Top 100 largest yachts.
The naval architecture of the 78.43 motoryacht Titan was completed by Abeking & Rasmussen in house engineering department. Reymond & Langton Design created exterior and interior styling.
The new superyacht has a grey hull, constructed from steel and an aluminium superstructure. The sundeck and radar mast areas were slightly modified in comparison with her predecessors. Titan features large doors on the forward full-beam area which are likely to be for tender side garages.
Abeking is famous for well proven tender launching systems. These systems allow to employ smooth launching and recovering ship tender whilst under way, or when approaching a anchorage or harbor.
Titan will be delivered to her owners in summer 2010 after passing all sea trials.
