Lubeck Yachts is currently working on Courage, a 35 meter motor yacht at the manufacturing plant in Lubeck, Germany. It is being built to Germanischer Lloyd and MCI standards, from marine grade aluminum and steel. The interior design is by Egg&Dart Studios and is promised to be contemporary with many modern touches.
The new motor yacht is scheduled for finish in 2011. Courage is 116’6″ in overall length, with a beam of 25’11”. It has a maximum draft of 7’6.” Courage has a full displacement steel hull with an aluminum super structure and will feature real Teak decking.
It is equipped with two Kohler 80 kilowatt generators, a Tecnicomar fresh water maker, a Quantum90 KW thruster and a Drews Marine air conditioner. The motors are models D2842LE diesel MAN engines, for a maximum power of 1618kw/2200hp, which powers twin screws.
It will have a maximum speed of 14 knots, with a cruise speed of 12.5. The 35m Courage has a range of up to 3,500 nautical miles at just 10 knots on a 40,000 liter fuel tank. Fresh water tanks hold 18,000 liters.
The interior designs are large and open floor plans with a combination of light walls, and darker upholstery. It will accommodate up to eight guests and five crew. There will be a master suite, VIP cabin, as well as two twin cabins, plus crew quarters.
Owner and guest cabins will have queen beds, full bathrooms, and large storage spaces. It will have a full galley, with state of the art appliances. It will also feature a grand stair case for access to every floor.
