The 60 metre superyacht Katie Sue II, which was recently launched by Lurssen Shipyard, was christened Solemates II.
The exterior lines of Solemates II were designed by Monaco based Espen Oeino; Glade Johnson created the interior layout. The superyacht is able to accommodate 12 guests in four double and two twin cabins. Glade Johnson managed to combine elegant classical details with contemporary elements. The main and upper deck salons offer huge spaces for dining inside and outside.
Powered by two Caterpillar engines of 1,455 kW each, Solemates II reaches a top speed of 15.5 knots with a range of 7,000 nm.
Lurssen will be presenting this new 60m superyacht during the next Monaco Yacht Show between September 22th and 25th. Solemates II is currently under sea trials off Germany.
