Avadesign presented their latest 70 metre concept by Andrea Vastano, who hopes to turn this design into an exclusive series, while keeping similar design features throughout the range.
New Diamond features strong and clean-cut exterior lines. The main aim for the developers was to create a yacht that will be as “green” as possible. The New Diamond superyacht would be built of aluminium with four decks that utilize eco-sustainable technology.
“The yacht will have low fuel consumption and low emissions, making it suitable for long ocean crossings, – says Avadesign. – She has a hybrid propulsion system, two diesel engines and two electric engines coupled with gas turbines, enabling us to have considerable power, respectable energy usage, economic savings and a very low environmental impact.”
One of the main features of the New Diamond is the transparent LCD hatch composed of a thick resin. This hatch protects the swimming pool area. Another feature of the yacht is a waterfall from the Jacuzzi on the main deck to the swimming pool on the lower deck. The beach club area also includes an American-style bar with armchairs, a sauna and a dive room.
The New Dimond provides accommodation for 12-14 quests.
