1927 It was the year in which the Yacht Club Olivos (YCO) was formed thanks to the efforts of a group of young people passionate about sailing. Carlos Collet was its first Commodore and before reaching its first year, the club already had its own headquarters on the southern breakwater of Puerto de Olivos, as well as its own boats. The objective of the club from the beginning was to bring the youth closer to the practice of yachting, a spirit that has been increasing over the years.
