A birthplace of competitive sailing in Australia, the Vaucluse Yacht Club in Watsons Bay continues to be an incredible place to sail. Offering sensational sailing on the beautiful waters of Sydney Harbour for beginners through to world champions. Throughout the season the club sees training classes learning the basics Saturday mornings with a large fleet of Lasers and a range of yachts racing in the afternoons. Always a dynamic club with a strong community, boats are either stored within our onsite storage racks or brought by trailer to the club for race days.
Also playing host to a range of regattas throughout the season including State and National championships and the famous 90 year old Vaucluse Regatta which attracts fleets of boats from all over Australia to compete for the title.
Our club facilities are second-to-none with excellent boat access, change-rooms, commercial kitchen and ample space to enjoy the views up Sydney harbour from the undercover balcony.
Our membership also celebrates people from all backgrounds and actively promotes access to sailing through our Learn To Race Lasers Course.
