TCYC (Teign Corinthian Yacht Club) is based at Teignmouth in Devon at the mouth of the Teign estuary
There is an active round-the-cans keelboat racing fleet with races being held every Wednesday evening in the summer.
The club also has a very active dinghy section with dinghy sailing taking place at the club’s second property at Coombe Cellars on the South bank of the River Teign estuary. Because of the sheltered nature of this location, dinghy sailing takes place all year round.
Training is a vital part of the club’s activities encouraging new members and beginners to acquire and improve their sailing skills and we are an accredited RYA Training Centre.
We have an active junior section and have very close links to other youth organisations (such as the local Scouts and Sea Scouts) in the local area encouraging young people to take part in water-based activities.
Regular Club Nights and social events are held at the Eastcliff clubhouse which has a licensed bar and full catering facilities. We also rent these facilities out to both members and non-members.
