Brilliant Boats have revealed the concept of the new 50m superyacht Sport Fisherman, the first sport fishing yacht to be introduced into the superyacht market.
The design of the yacht resembles a sleek battleship, but not a cruising vessel. Yet the Sport Fisherman offers stability and a low fuel consumption rate for something so fast and large.
The concept stipulates spacious and luxurious areas which are glazed with expansive windows that reach full length to make the most of natural light. The foredeck of the yacht features large Jacuzzi for eight people, a king-sized sunpad area and generous spaces for dining or entertaining.
The 50m Sport Fisherman has a full beam tender garage that can accommodate a pair of 25’ boats.
The yacht can be customized according to the owner’s wishes. The aft cockpit can be converted in the spacious beach club, featuring sofas, chairs and water level access through fold out steps on the stern. The flybridge’s altitude can be also adjusted according to the needs of the owner.
The yacht is powered by a pair of 3,000 hp 16 cylinder diesels and easily reaches speeds in the high twenties. Sport Fisherman can be powered by optional centerline turbine which increases top speed up to 45 knots. The economical cruising speed of the vessel is about 20 knots.
The interior layout of the yacht offers a large owner’s suite, followed by 2 VIP suites and 2 twins between them. There are also four guest cabins which can be arranged as doubles or twins. The crew mess provides accommodation for eight crew members.
Brilliant Boats are in negotiation with shipyards in the Ukraine, with a vision to building this vessel and a 60m variant with hull and superstructure in titanium, which will offer a 30% weight saving over aluminum and unmatched corrosion resistance.
