Owner Richard Bertram began building luxury yachts back in 1961, and has since produced some of the most solidly built, exceptionally seaworthy boat in the Yacht building industry. Part of this is due to the exquisite craftsmanship that goes into each one, part due to the length of time their employees have worked for the company. There isn’t a high employee turn over rate here, and the people take pride in what they are doing. All the materials that go into Bertram yachts are of the highest quality, from the holding tanks for fuel and waste water, to the engines and living spaces.
