The name Couach has been a leading name in the shipbuilding industry going all the way back to 1897 when Albert Couach creates the first marine engine called Arcachon. Since that time, Couach has been building watercraft for both military and civilian use and do so successfully. Acquisitions such as the Refit International Marine Service in St Mandrier allowing to Couach to grow and expand have helped the ship builder to achieve the level of success they currently enjoy.
