Based out of Southern France, British yacht designer Alex McDiamid has really out done himself with his new 46-meter motoryacht. It’s sporty lines, sleek profile, and a main window that runs from the aft and wraps around the yacht to the hull, this vessel is going to stand out in a crowd. Taking inspirations from car designs, urban architecture, and even from origami, this concept is one that looks away from the mainstream yachting industry.

Pelican 80: Luxury And Dynamic Yacht Concept By Yachting Ideas |

From Yachting Ideas comes the Pelican 80, a totally new design concept in motor yachts. This is going to be a vessel that is not only going to get second glances, but thirds and fourths. While a pelican may be a little oddly shaped bird, the Pelican 80 isn’t odd in any way, but it is one that is totally different, looking more like a graceful bird in the water, with it’s attractive and sporty lines. The shape of the sheer line is relatively new, as well as the designs of the canopy. This makes the yacht not only extremely dynamic, the curves of the bow to the stern actually reflect the waves away from the ship.

Oceanco Presents PA076 Semi-Custom Superyach Concept |

The PA076 is the latest concept by Oceanco, and was first presented by the inhouse design team in 2010 at the Monaco Yacht Show. Now the ship has been developed from a concept to a real vessel, and will be presented at both the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Yacht shows this year, along with a new 119 meter concept from Sam Sorgiovanni.
