The 52-metre superyacht Sencora 52 is now ready to commence the construction stage. The yacht was developed in close colloboration between Sencora, Dixon Yacht Design (naval architecture, exterior design) and Focus Yacht Design (interior layout).
“The concept was developed over several years and consultation with various yacht builders and designers. The basic layout criteria, interior styling ideas and performance targets have been provided by the client,” explained Luc Scherrer, Marketing Manager at Sencora.
Sencora 52 has a high-speed displacement hull, which offers the speed in excess of a typical vessel of this size. Accommodation is provided for 10 guests including the owner and nine crew.
The owner’s suite is located on the aft deck, forward on the lower deckare two twin guest cabins and a large VIP cabin. Forward of the owner’s bathroom is a sports room, the owner’s office and dressing room, and aft is the owner’s terrace that has a bulwark. The after part of the transom bulwark is a gate that can fold down to become a swim platform and used for tender boarding.
The main deck houses the captains cabin, main and dining salons and a tender garage. A raised deck above the owner’s suite has been included for sun bathing. On the upper deck is another sun bathing area and the sky lounge.
Powered by two Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines and coupled with azimuthing thrusters, the vessel will be able to achieve a maximum of 16 knots and 5000 nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
