Riviera is Australia’s largest builder of luxury boats and they have announced their new range of luxury yachts, one of which is the Riviera 78 Motor Yacht. This new model is the epitome of luxury and continues Riviera’s distinctive styling and impeccable quality.
Riviera’s Product Development team at their headquarters in Coomera designed this beautiful new yacht. The new Riviera 78 draws on the accumulated knowledge and experience of approximately 30 years as well as an excess of 4,800 boats actually built. This design team is unrivaled when it comes to designing luxury boats. All construction will be handled by a specialist yard located in Taiwan and closely supervised by Riviera’s engineers.
The 78 Motor Yacht is the larger version of the 73 Motor Yacht; it includes a completely enclosed and expanded lounge area in the Sky Lounge as well as crew accommodations. The Sky Lounge also shows additional advantages with its extended leather lounge as well as the longer liquor cabinet. The Rivera 78 Motor Yacht comes complete with an extensive audio-visual system (with digital 50” systems in the saloon and Sky Lounge as well as TV/DVD systems in every cabin), hydraulic swim platform, tender garage and bow thruster.
In the main salon there are additional benefits, including the extended liquor cabinet and the dinette area provides a spacious U-shape around a beautiful square timber table. Sleeping accommodations for the crew has been moved forward placing the crew cabin in front of its engine room. This allows for accommodating two crewmembers in a cabin. The entrance to the crew cabin is through a door in the cockpit.
Standard engines for this motor yacht are Caterpillar C18, which is rated at 1,015 hp and the option of having MTU 8V engines, which are rated at 1,200 hp. These engine options give owners a range of boating lifestyles to choose from.
