Mulder 59 Convertible Softtop

A Netherlands based yacht builder with three shipyard locations: one in the Netherlands, one in Italy, and another in Russia Mulder has been in business building watercraft since 1938. The firm started in the community of Voorschoten where they have continued their tradition to this day. In the beginning, this world-renowned builder started out building open small wooden boats and at the end of year, they had graduated to their first sailing craft. Over the past 72 years, the Mulder shipyards have been known as quality yacht builders. With the introduction of the 59 Convertible Soft Top the tradition continues.

Mulder has built more than one convertible style yacht as well as the flybridge, wheelhouse, and favorites lines prior to the introduction of the Mulder 59, but this soft top convertible is obviously the culmination of their decades of experience in yacht building. The exterior and interior designs are certainly state of the art and cutting edge, with the use of lightweight aluminum for the hull, and the latest materials used in interior construction. The attention to the personal details both within and without will tell the conscientious yacht aficionado that Mulder cares about their clients comfort.

The shipyards use of the lightweight aluminum has allowed then to not only build a light, but also a sturdy watercraft it has allowed them to create a stable platform from which to build upon with this wonderful medium sized personal yacht. The aluminum has allowed then to weld the diesel fuel tank directly into the hull. Both the black water and water tank were welded directly to the hull as well. A water maker is also installed aboard the Mulder 59. The shape of the hull is also very good and with a higher bow allows for ease of handling in rough seas as well as a good clear day on the water.
