Superyacht Florida was launched by Icon Yachts on 27th May 2010. Florida is the second yacht from Icon Shipyard, her sister ship M/Y Icon touched the water in 2009.
Florida features naval architecture by Jouke Van Der Baan; her exterior design was created by Tim Heywood, while Redman Whitely Dixon developed the interior layout.
The 62.5 motor yacht Florida has a strong steel hull. She has the same platform as her predecessor Icon, but optimized to the highest potential. The hull shape below the water, propulsion system, machinery and crew spaces are the same.
Later this year Icon yachts will launch their third super yacht Midlandia. She also features steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Her exterior and interior styling created Redman Whiteley Dixon and Cristiano Gatto Design, respectively.
