A rather proud announcement has recently come from MCP Yachts regarding the contract signing of a brand new concept superyacht, the groundbreaking Hemisphere 140, a creation between the yacht maker and Vripack slated to be an innovation in the exciting world of yachting.
The all aluminum, 42.5 meter Hemisphere 140 has been designed to offer both extraordinary performance along with a spacious, uniquely designed interior featuring a generous layout.
This semi displacement superyacht with its elegant lines and exterior will feature five staterooms which include four VIP cabins and one full beam master cabin to accommodate up to 10 passengers at a time.
The Hemisphere 140 will also accommodate seven crew members along with one captain who will be comfortable within a crew area, conveniently located forward the yacht’s lower deck for guest privacy, and the captain’s suite situated between the VIP cabins and the engine room. The stern garage of the Hemisphere 140 will house a full second galley as well as an exercise room.
In terms of power, the Hemisphere 140 boasts two Caterpillar C32 engines to create an impressive top speed of 19 knots while at half load. And, there are other more powerful Caterpillar engines available if desired.
Upon completion, the Hemisphere 140 by MCP Yachts and Vripack will be an innovative Brazilian superyacht that is the largest of its kind in all of South America.
