Lürssen Shipyard Launched The New Superyacht Katie Sue II

Katie Sue II

Lurssen Shipyard has recently launched the 60 metre superyacht Katie Sue II. This steel and aluminium motor yacht combines elegant classical details with contemporary elements.

Katie Sue II features exterior design by the Espen Oeino and interior design created by Glade Johnson. The exterior spaces of the yacht were extended in comparison with her near sisterships Linda Lou (2006) and Arkley (2009). The bridge deck has more windows and the wheelhouse has been modified to offer a panoramic view of the ocean.

The main and upper deck salons offer huge spaces for dining inside and outside. The upper deck features wind-protected area midships which may be transformed in a gym or outside dining area.

The low deck of the Katie Sue II features four equally sized spacious guest cabins with extra large vertical portholes. A fifth guest cabin is located on the upper deck. The super yacht accommodates 12 guests and 15 crew members.

Powered by two Caterpillar engines of 1,455 kW each, Katie Sue II reaches a top speed of 15.5 knots with a range of 7,000 nm. The motor yacht is scheduled to be delivered to her owners this summer.
